You know your product better than any creator you could hire, and a video of you explaining it is often the one that sells. The trouble is time: between orders and customers, nobody has an hour to edit a one-minute clip. Bang AI, the AI video editor for people who talk to the camera, makes that cut for you on iPhone, the web and the Mac. Film yourself talking about what you sell, turn on Spoken Overlays, press Auto Edit, and the product shots and discount codes you named while filming land on those lines.
Bang AI is on iPhone, the web and the Mac.
What gets in the way, and the fix
| The problem | How Bang AI handles it |
|---|---|
| No time to edit between orders and customers | Press Auto Edit and the pauses and repeated tries are cut in one pass, and ums while Remove Ums is on. |
| Product shots that never line up with what you're saying | Say "overlay" and the product's name; Spoken Overlays puts the photo on that line. |
| Feeling awkward talking to a camera | Restart as often as you need. Auto Edit keeps one recording of each line, and the others stay ready to swap in. |
| Making a version for every platform | Export Pack on iPhone and the Mac makes 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1, with and without captions, at once. |
What you get
- Founder and product videos cut while you get back to work
- Discount codes and product cutouts, made in the iPhone and Mac apps, on the line you mention them
- Word-by-word captions in a look you set once
- Your videos on iPhone, the web and the Mac with one sign-in
Five videos a shop can film this week
- Why we started. Thirty seconds on the problem that made you build this. People buy from people.
- The product in your hands. One product, one thing it does better, shown up close.
- New arrival. What just came in, who it's for and how long it'll last.
- Behind the counter. Packing orders, making a batch, the bit customers never see.
- Answer a customer. The question you're asked most, answered in under a minute.
Keep each to one idea. A short video that says one thing gets watched to the end more often than a tour of everything you sell.
Your product on screen, placed by voice
Add your product photos to your Overlays library, and in the iPhone and Mac apps use Create Overlay's Photo to cut a product out of its background on your device. Rename each overlay with the words you'll say, like "blue mug". While you film, say "overlay the blue mug" and carry on.
Turn on Spoken Overlays before you press Auto Edit and the photo appears beside that sentence, placed clear of your face, with your spoken cue cut out. Text cards made in the iPhone and Mac apps give you a Discount Code, a Price Tag, Link in Bio or a Star Rating in the same way.
Edit less, post more
Auto Edit works from the words you said. It keeps your strongest lines, cuts the silence and your repeated tries at a line, and cuts um, uh and erm while Remove Ums is on. Pick Most ads for about 30 seconds and it keeps your hook and your call to action while it trims.
If a line came out better on another try, the editor shows a badge on that clip; tap it and swap in the other recording. Every Auto Edit makes a new version, so trying a shorter cut never replaces the one you have.
Filming in a busy shop
Film before opening or after closing, when the shop is quiet and the light is steady. Put the phone at eye level on a shelf or tripod, stand close enough that your voice is clearly the loudest thing, and keep each clip to one idea. Bang AI cuts by the words it hears, so clear speech gives it the most to work with.
When you'd rather hire a creator
Some shops hire UGC creators as well as filming themselves. The founder video earns trust; a creator's video shows the product in someone else's life. If you send a creator's raw clips to yourself, you can cut them in Bang AI the same way, and the UGC product review template gives a structure to brief them with. The TikTok Shop affiliate page covers videos made for shop links.
What it won't do
Bang AI doesn't post for you or run your ads; it cuts video where someone talks, in English or Spanish. A video that is all music over product shots, with nobody speaking, needs a timeline editor; our beginners roundup compares a few. And you film it yourself: Bang AI makes no AI presenter.
Questions, answered.
What is the best video editor for small business owners?
If you or your team talk to the camera, an editor that cuts by speech saves the most time, and Bang AI makes that cut for you. For music-only product reels, a template editor suits better.
Can I add a discount code to my video?
Yes. Make a Discount Code text card in the iPhone or Mac app, name it, and say "overlay" and its name while you film. Auto Edit places it on that line.
Do I need a Mac or can I use my phone?
Either. Bang AI runs on iPhone, on the web at app.morebangers.com and on the Mac, with the same account and videos on each.
Will my product's name come out right in the captions?
Usually, but brand names can be misheard. Tap the caption in the iPhone or Mac app, or select it and press Edit words on the web, and type the fix.
Can I export for Instagram and TikTok at once?
On iPhone and the Mac, Export Pack makes 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1, with and without captions, from one version. You then upload each file yourself.
