This template gives you four beats for a 20 to 40 second reply: the comment on screen, a one-sentence answer, the proof and an invitation to ask more. Pick a comment that other viewers likely wonder about too, and screenshot it with the name cropped out. 2. Add the screenshot to your Overlays library and rename it with the words you'll say, such as "comment". 3. Film the four beats as short clips, saying "overlay the comment" before you read it, and record the answer line a few ways. 4. Upload the clips, turn on Spoken Overlays and Captions, and press Auto Edit. 5. In the editor, tap the answer clip's badge to compare your recordings and swap in the best, then export. ## Variations ### The myth check Answer a comment that repeats a common belief, with the proof beat testing it on camera. **When to use it:** When a doubt about the product keeps coming up and a quick demo can settle it. ### The comment roundup Answer three short comments in a row, one screenshot overlay and one sentence each, then close with one ask. **When to use it:** When several small questions are piling up and none needs a whole video. ## Putting it to work - Crop the screenshot tight. A whole screen of comments is hard to read on a phone; one comment fills the overlay. - Say your one-sentence answer before you explain it. If a length target trims the video, the answer is the line you need to stay. - Name each comment screenshot differently if you keep several in your library, so the newest doesn't win by accident. ## Choosing a comment worth a video The best comments to answer are ones other viewers are thinking but didn't type. Look for questions that repeat across your videos, doubts about whether something works, and requests for a detail you skipped. Skip comments that only need a yes or no, and anything that would mean arguing with one person in public. A good test: if the answer would help someone who never saw the original video, it is worth filming. ## Four beats from question to answer 1. **Show and read the comment.** Say "overlay the comment", then read it aloud in your own voice: "Someone asked if this serum works on oily skin." 2. **Answer in one sentence.** "Yes, and here's why I'd still use less of it." The answer comes before any story. 3. **Prove it.** Show the product, the step or the result that backs your answer. 4. **Ask for the next one.** "What should I test next? Leave it below." ## Putting the comment on screen Screenshot the comment, crop it to the words, and add the image to your Overlays library: Add from Photos or Add from Files in the iPhone and Mac apps, or the web editor's Image tool. Rename it "comment", or something more specific like "oily skin comment" if you answer several. Bang AI matches what you say to overlay names first, and when two match equally, the newest wins. Keep J and L Cuts and Remove Ums on, and add Punch-in Zoom if the proof beat is a long single shot. Pick Most ads for about 30 seconds, or a shorter Custom length; Auto Edit keeps your hook and your call to action when it trims. Captions help viewers follow the answer without sound.
