When Bang AI is not working for you, find your problem below: uploads on each device, Auto Edit cuts that fail, the web editor, exports stuck at 720p, signing in and edits from your AI chat. Works on - iPhone - Web - Mac [Get started](https://app.morebangers.com/) Bang AI is on iPhone, the web and the Mac. ## Steps 1. Read the message Bang AI shows. Most name the fix. 2. Check your connection. Bang AI says when you're offline or can't reach the server. 3. On the web, use a recent Chrome, Edge or Safari, outside a private window. 4. Find your problem on this page and follow its fix. 5. Still stuck? Copy your Account ID from Settings, then Account, and contact support from Settings, then Help. ## Uploads in the iPhone and Mac apps On iPhone, clips upload in the background, sound first. When one fails, Bang AI names it, such as "'Kitchen' didn't upload.", and a version that needed it isn't cut or charged. Add the clip again with Add Clips. If you see "You're offline. Check your connection and try again.", reconnect and try again. On the Mac, choose File, then Upload Files… or Upload Folder…, or drag from Finder. Only video files upload. The Mac sends a 720p copy and keeps your originals, so leave the files where they are until you've exported. ## Uploads on the web The browser prepares each clip before it uploads, so the browser matters. - **"Uploading needs Chrome, Edge or Safari."** Open app.morebangers.com in a recent one of those. - **"Uploading doesn't work in a private window."** Open a normal window and sign in again. - **"This browser can't read iPhone video."** Use Safari on a Mac, or upload with [Bang AI for Mac](https://morebangers.com/mac/). - **"These videos can't be read in a browser."** These are usually ProRes files; upload them with Bang AI for Mac. - **Uploads are running in another tab.** Finish them in that tab, or close it. - **The tab closed.** Add the same files again and Bang AI picks up where it left off. The web also has a daily upload limit. When you reach it, upload the rest once it resets. A clip over 30 minutes uploads without its sound. ## When Auto Edit fails A version that can't be cut gives back every credit it cost, whatever the reason. - **"Couldn't cut: no speech found."** Auto Edit cuts by what you say, in English or Spanish. Check the clips have sound, then run it again. - **"Couldn't cut: a clip was deleted."** Add the clip back or leave it out, then press Auto Edit again. - **"A clip is still uploading."** The version waits for every upload. On the web, keep the tab open until it's in. - **"You don't have enough credits for this edit."** The button becomes Get Credits and says how many the version needs. Turn off Captions or Spoken Overlays to lower the cost, or get more; see [Credits](https://morebangers.com/help/credits/). - **"Couldn't cut it."** Press Try Again. If it fails twice, contact support. [Auto Edit](https://morebangers.com/help/auto-edit/) covers every option and limit. ## The web editor won't open or save The editor needs a recent Chrome, Edge or Safari. Other browsers see "This browser can't run the editor"; open the video in one of those three, or in Bang AI for Mac. - **"Update to open this edit."** The edit was saved by a newer Bang AI. Reload the page, or update the app on that device. - **"Couldn't save."** Press Retry. Unsaved work can be restored, so you don't lose it. - **"This edit is being cut again, so your changes can't be saved yet."** Wait for the new cut to finish, then edit. - **"This video changed while you were editing."** An AI chat or another device saved over it. Choose Keep mine or Show the new version. - **"Can't reach the server."** Check your connection and try again. ## Exports stuck at 720p The web and the Mac upload 720p copies, so an export is only as sharp as the files Bang AI can reach. - **On the web**, choose Find Original Files… or Export at full quality and pick the folder that holds your originals. Safari can't export HDR video at full quality; export on Chrome or in Bang AI for Mac. Keep the tab open and in front until the export finishes, and free up space if the browser says it has run out. - **In the iPhone and Mac apps**, Export caps at 720p when a clip's original isn't on that device or backed up. Turn on **Full-Quality Backup** (iPhone: Settings, then Full-Quality Backup; Mac: the Backup tab). It saves your clips' original files, so the Mac and any iPhone export at full quality. It uploads on Wi-Fi only unless you turn on Use Cellular Data. ## Signing in and your subscription Bang AI signs in with Apple only. "Apple couldn't confirm it's you." means the Apple sign-in didn't finish; try again. "Your session ended. Sign in again." does what it says. A bar asking you to open the page in Safari means you're inside TikTok, Instagram or Facebook's browser. "Your subscription has ended. Subscribe to keep going." means your plan lapsed; your clips are kept for 30 days after it ends. To cancel, restore a purchase or ask for a refund, the steps depend on where you subscribed (App Store, Google Play or the web), and [Support](https://morebangers.com/support/) lists each one. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription. To close your account, see [Delete your account](https://morebangers.com/delete-account/). ## When your AI chat can't edit Editing from [ChatGPT, Claude or Claude Code](https://morebangers.com/integrations/) goes through the same account, so most chat errors have a short fix. - **"Connect Bang AI to use your own clips and edits."** Sign in again from the chat's prompt; a sign-in that expired asks the same. - **"This video changed since that revision."** Your last edit may have applied. Ask the chat to read the video again before it redoes anything. - **"No video of this account has that edit id."** Ask it to list your videos again and pick the right one. - **"This video is being cut again."** Wait for the cut to finish, then ask again. - **Too long for agents to edit.** A video with a lot of talking is edited in the Bang AI app instead. - **"Bang AI is busy"** or **"The footage is still loading"**. Ask again shortly. ## Contact support Contact support from inside Bang AI, or by email. - **iPhone**: Settings, then Help, then Contact Support. - **Mac**: Help, then Contact Support…, or Settings, then Help. - **Web**: Settings, then Help, then Contact Support. The web editor also has Send feedback. - **Email**: f@fridaylunch.studio. Copy your Account ID first: Settings, then Account, then Copy Account ID on iPhone and the Mac, or the copy button beside Account ID in the web's Settings. Paste it in and say what you were doing, what you expected and what happened. A screenshot or screen recording helps. ## Ask your AI chat With Bang AI added to [ChatGPT, Claude or Claude Code](https://morebangers.com/integrations/), ask in your own words, or paste one of these: - List my Bang AI videos ChatGPT, Claude and Claude Code. Use it when the chat says no video of this account has that edit id: it lists your videos again, newest first, so the chat picks the right one. - Give me a link to open this video in the web editor All three chats. Opens the video in Bang AI's web editor so you can watch the change, undo it while it's open or export. Sign in with Apple there; the link doesn't sign you in. - Bring that line back All three chats. Restores a line the chat cut. Only cut lines come back: cut pauses, removed fillers and deleted clips stay gone. ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI. Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic. Bang AI isn't affiliated with or endorsed by either. ## Limits - Sign in with Apple is the only way to sign in. - The web editor and web uploads need a recent Chrome, Edge or Safari. - Exports are 720p until Bang AI can reach the originals: on the web, the folder you point it at; in the apps, the device that shot them or Full-Quality Backup. - From a chat, each edit saves over the video. Only a line the chat cut can be brought back. - A chat can't upload footage, export or post. Those stay in Bang AI. - A video with a lot of talking can be too long for agents to edit; open it in the Bang AI app. - Support replies by email within 24 hours. ## Troubleshooting **You're offline.**: Check your connection and try again. **Uploading doesn't work in a private window.**: Open app.morebangers.com in a normal window, sign in and add the clips again. **These videos can't be read in a browser.**: Upload them with Bang AI for Mac instead. **This browser can't run the editor.**: Open the video in a recent Chrome, Edge or Safari, or in Bang AI for Mac. **Couldn't cut it.**: Your credits are back. Press Try Again, and contact support if it fails twice. **Apple couldn't confirm it's you.**: The Apple sign-in didn't finish. Try Sign in with Apple again. **This video changed since that revision.**: In your AI chat, ask it to read the video again before it redoes the last edit, which may already have applied. **My backup isn't moving.**: Full-Quality Backup uploads on Wi-Fi only. Join Wi-Fi, or turn on Use Cellular Data. ## Questions, answered. **Why is my export only 720p?** Bang AI can't reach the clip's original file. On the web, point it at the folder of originals when you export. In the apps, turn on Full-Quality Backup or export on the device that shot the clip. **Where do I find my Account ID?** Settings, then Account, then Copy Account ID on iPhone and the Mac. On the web, use the copy button beside Account ID in Settings. Support finds your account by it. **Do I get my credits back when Auto Edit fails?** Yes. A version that couldn't be cut returns every credit it cost, whether no speech was found, a clip was deleted or anything else went wrong. **Can I undo an edit my AI chat made?** Mostly not from the chat. Each edit saves over the video, and only a line the chat cut comes back. If the video is open in the web editor as the edit lands, Undo there works. **How do I cancel my subscription?** Where you subscribed. For the App Store, use your iPhone's Settings; for the web, Settings at app.morebangers.com, then Manage subscription.
