On iPhone and the Mac it makes six videos at once: 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1, each with and without captions. Press Export… instead for one video exactly as you edited it. On the web you export one shape at a time from the editor. Exporting costs no credits, and Bang AI never posts for you: you upload the file yourself. It has to be finished cutting before it can export. 2. Open the version's menu and press Export Pack for every shape at once, or Export… for one video as it is. 3. In Export Pack, tap a tile to leave out a shape you don't need. All six start on. 4. Pick a resolution, 720p, 1080p or 4K, and a frame rate, 24, 30 or 60 fps. Bang AI starts you on 1080p at 30. 5. Press Export. On iPhone the videos save to Photos; on the Mac they save to the Bang AI folder in Movies. 6. Upload the file to TikTok, Reels, Shorts or wherever you post. Bang AI doesn't post for you. ## What Export Pack makes Export Pack turns one version into six videos: every shape, with and without captions. - **9:16**, the full-screen shape for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. - **4:5**, the tall shape for a feed post. - **1:1**, the square. Each shape comes once with your captions [burned in](https://morebangers.com/glossary/burned-in-captions/) and once without. They are named after the version, so a video called Serum launch saves as "Serum launch · 4:5" and "Serum launch · 4:5 · no captions", and so on. Tap a tile to leave out a shape you won't use; the button counts what is left, as in Export 4 Videos. ## Export one video Export… in the version's menu saves the version as it is: its shape, its captions and every change you made in the editor. On the Mac, press ⌘E in the editor. - **Resolution**: 720p, 1080p or 4K. - **Frame rate**: 24, 30 or 60 fps. Bang AI starts you on 1080p at 30 fps, and Export Pack uses the same two choices for all six videos. Length and Size show what the file will be before you press Export. In Select mode you can export several versions, one after another. ## Where your videos save On iPhone, exports save to Photos. On the Mac they save to a Bang AI folder in Movies, shown as Bang AI (in Movies), and Save to lets you pick another folder. An export pack saves one video at a time. You can leave the app while it works, and the pill at the top of home shows how far along it is. When it finishes, the files are ordinary videos you can upload anywhere: Bang AI doesn't post to TikTok, Instagram or YouTube for you. ## Full quality and the 720p limit Bang AI edits from a 720p copy of each clip wherever the original isn't, so an export is capped at 720p until the originals are there. On the iPhone that filmed the clips, and on the Mac that imported them, the originals are already on the device. Elsewhere, the export tells you why it is at 720p: a clip's original is still uploading from the iPhone that recorded it, or originals download only on Wi-Fi. To export at full quality from any device, turn on Full-Quality Backup: on iPhone in Settings, on the Mac in the Backup tab. Backed-up originals download first when you export, so the video can export up to 4K. ## Export on the web The web editor exports one shape at a time. Pick the shape in the Format tool, 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 or 16:9, then press Export and choose the resolution, 1080p or 4K, and the frame rate, 24, 30 or 60 fps. The file is an MP4 that saves to Downloads or a folder you pick; on a phone, press Share. The browser uploads 720p copies of your clips, so the export is 720p until you press Find Original Files… and pick the folder that holds the originals. Keep the tab open until the export is done. A chat can't export or post, so it hands you a link that opens the video in the Bang AI web editor, where you press Export. - List my Bang AI videos All three chats. Lists your videos, newest first, so you can say which one to open for exporting. - Turn captions on and use the Karaoke look All three chats. Changes the saved video's captions before you export it. The web exports one shape at a time. - Exports are 720p until the clips' originals are on the device, found on the web or backed up with Full-Quality Backup. - Captions are burned into the video. There is no SRT or VTT file. - A version can't export until it has finished cutting. - No chat can export or post a video. It can only hand you a link to the web editor. - Bang AI doesn't post for you, on any device. ## Troubleshooting **This version can't be exported until it's ready.**: The version is still being cut. Wait until it's finished, then open its menu and export again. **A clip's full-quality original is still uploading.**: A clip's full-quality original is still uploading from the iPhone that recorded it. Let it finish, or export on that iPhone. **Originals download on Wi-Fi, so this export is 720p.**: Join a Wi-Fi network and export again, so the backed-up originals can download first. **Couldn't read the version.**: Press Try Again. If it keeps failing, check your connection and open Export Pack again from the version's menu. **This browser can't export HDR video at full quality.**: Safari can't export HDR at full quality. Export in Chrome, or use Bang AI for Mac. **The web export stopped.**: Keep the tab open and in front until it's done, and check there is free space on your computer, then press Export again. ## Questions, answered. **Does exporting cost credits?** No. Exporting is free on iPhone, the web and the Mac, however many times you export a version. Credits pay for things like Auto Edit and captions. **Can Bang AI post my video to TikTok or Instagram?** No. Bang AI exports the files, and you upload them yourself to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or anywhere else you post. **Can I export captions as an SRT file?** No. Captions are burned into the video. Export Pack gives you each shape without captions too, for a platform that adds its own. **Why is my export only 720p?** The clips' originals aren't on this device and aren't backed up. Export on the device that filmed or imported them, find the originals on the web, or turn on Full-Quality Backup. **Is Export Pack on the web?** No. On the web you pick a shape in the Format tool and export it, then repeat for each shape you want.
